Panning

yesterday, I went to Pasir Ris Park with my best sister, Enes

we rented a double bicycle and we took a lot of pictures there :)

this is one of the photo that i took there, Om Le said that it's called panning

he taught me the easiest way to make this effect is to set it to shutter speed priority, then set it into a slow speed. For cycling you can start a slow speed of 1/30s. Focus on the object, then move the camera in the direction of the object's movement. For better panning photo, you can set into the bigger aperture, min F11 to F16, so you can get good sharpness :)

I'm still practicing to take a good photo ;)

it looks like my sister ride the bicycle very fast until the passenger behind her (me) disappear! :-P
but actually she just ride it slowly, hehehe...

my sister's friend commented on this photo: looks like you've just stolen that bicycle cos the speed is very fast, lol :D

Bokeh

Apakah anda tahu apa itu boker bokeh ?

Bokeh adalah sebuah karakteristik foto yang menonjolkan sebuah objek (objek utama) dengan fokus sangat tajam di objek utama dan latar belakang yang kabur. Bokeh berasal dari bahasa Jepang yang artinya "menjadi kabur" --> aku sok ahli banget :-P wkwk

contoh foto bokeh adalah sebagai berikut :

Pada foto di atas hanya wajahku saja yang fokus, sedangkan background belakangnya kabur, itulah yang disebut bokeh.

How to make that 'bokeh' picture?

1. Choose manual mode or Aperture Priority --> aperture is the key to make bokeh

2. Choose the aperture as big as possible (semakin kecil angka aperture tandanya semakin besar aperture dan semakin sempit fokus areanya)

3. Set the distance of the photographer (the lens) and the object (semakin dekat jarak lensa dengan objek dan semakin jauh jarak objek dengan background maka backgroundnya akan semakin kabur)

I try to edit it and that's the result :D hohoho, I feel enjoy when I edit a picture, I'm happy when the picture become more beautiful ;) I like photography, I wish I could have a Nikon or Canon DSLR later and take a good picture everywhere :3
